JOEL-BRED FILLIES REACH NEW YORK. New York. February 21. — Three two-year-old til-lies arrived here on the Mongolian, belonging to W. S. Kilmer. They w.-ie consigned to Dr. R. W. McCully lo await orders as 1,. their fiilure de-lini-lion and will probably tie s.-ni io Frank M. Taylor. who ha- oilier homes belonging to Mr. Kilmer al Graresend. All three -hipped exceedingly well ami are chejeelj bred, two being by Sunflower II. out of Eugenie and Sehoolbook respectively, and the third by Sir Geoffrey— Mrs. Deoley. Charles Hill, who has charge if the four three-year-olds at Durands. belonging to Clarence II. Mackay. has had several offers for them, all of which have been refused. Several trainers have applied to take them on shares, but Mr. Mackay is desirous of selling them without any contingeueie-. Two of them. Raftouilleur and Esprits Gsuloin, have been entered for the Kentucky Derby. They will also be nominated for other stakes not yet closed. A. J. .Toyner has applied to the Jockey Club for a trainers license and has registered his color-. This indicates he will buy ami train his own horses.
