NEW RACING STABLE AT MONTREAL. Montreal, Que., March 11. Montreal will have another raring stable to compete tor the purses offered by tin- tracks under the jurisdiction of the Canadian Baring Associations this rear. This stable will be known a, the Bedhaah stable and is the property of a Well-known local horseman. flic horses will he bandied by .1. J. McOsfferty, a promi-nent American trainer. MeCafferty at one time owned oae* of tin- largest stal les racing in America and rode and trained his own horses. The Bedbank Stable has already a number of horse, arbicb have wintered here in ; ml condition. The string in-Cludes Garter, which two years ago won the llendric Memorial Steeplechase. Garter, which was owned last year by M. Daly, never leaked better than at present. He has taken on ■ lot of weight and is being given regular exercise on tin- roads each day. He is a useful jumper. Nils, which was raced last neason by .1. if Moody, was purchased by the Red bank Stable and has I ■ schooled for jumping. She is a promising chaser and has plenty of speed on the tlat. Boyal Blue is another in the stable which has show n some speed. fh s horse was at one time owned bj Lewis ;arth and had a EUecesaful season as a two-year-old. He is now a four-year old and was not raced to any great extent last seasoa. Praetor, which was brought here la-t spring by the T rec stable ami afterward- taken out of a seBiag race bj II. G. Bedwell ami then ilisp ned of. is ais,, in the stable. Uncle Iitz is another of the string ami there are one or two Other horses in the stable, of whch Golden Vixen, bred by I . Raymond, is much the best. This tilly is a three-year-aid ami is eligible for the Quebec Kings Plate.
