MISSOURIS PRINCIPAL BREEDING FARM. One of the hig raeing strings in Texas is the stable- of bones owned by the young Missouri turfman. P.. A. Jones, all of wUch were bred and raised at the Jones breeding establishment near ■ Parnill. in that state. The elder Jones recently died, but the estate will still carry on the big breeding plant. v 1 n ■ ■ ! 1 i has become in recent years about the largest I thoroughbred establishment in all Missouri There are now about forty young mares on the place and 1 this season there are thirty weanlings, the largest t number yet raised at the establishment. There were nineteen yearlings, foals of 1114. raised on i the place. Two of these were sold and the following died this rear: Chestnut colt, by Harrigan, out of old Bose, by Oddfellow: bay filly, by Blues, out of Mis, Van Winkle, by St. Felix: chestnut i filly, by Baptd Water, out of Willie T.. by Albert, and bay tilly. by Blues, out of Errant Lady, by Knight Errant. None of the collection have as yet been named. but all are well advanced in their first raeing ; preparation.
