YORKV1LLE raced forwardly, but tired after moving up rapidly 011 the stretch turn. CORN BROOM quit after making the early pace. AKIN moved up rapidly while rounding the far turn and drew siwav into a long lead in the last eighth. SCHEMER began slowly, but gained steadily and outstayed THE MASQUERADER. The latter forced a fast pace, but was much used in racing BARS AND STARS into defeat and tired after taking the lead. ROBERT BRADLEY finished fast.
