THE WRONG KIND OF A CURE. The suggestion that, as a cure for the multiplication of race courses in Canada, there should be .1 suspension of racing during the war, would work out the wrong way. The sufferers would be the legitimate courses, while the fly-by-night concerns, operating on leased property, and with nothing of their own at stake, could close up without loss, having nothing to lose either in the way of property or reputation.
