JOHN LOUIS came fast through the homestretch and would have won iii another stride. ROY raced prominently all the way, but tired in the stretch drive. GOMUL ran fairly well. The latter closed a biff gap while racing on the outside and finished with a surprising rush. CHAKMEUSE began slowly and was hemmed in next to the rail in the stretch, but finished fast and close up. SAYOXARRA ran disappointingly, but also was close up at the end. LACK-ROSE set a fast pace to the last eighth and tired. BLAXCIIITA quit. The -winner was entered for 00; no bid. OLD COIX set a fast pace to the last eighth and readily succumbed to the winner. ROOSTER closed a big gap in the homestretch. GIMLI showed much speed and ran awav two miles after the finish. PLUME ran well. TOASTMASTEK wheeled at the start and was left. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
