COMING WINNERS AT NEW ORLEANS. New Orleans. January 4. — Pan Zareta is good and only waiting for a .good track. Tuesday morning she breezed three-quarters on the outside of the Fair Grounds course in 1:24. Tie Pin is good and ready. He showed an easy half over the same track in :5ft. There were other good-looking works Tuesday morning. Culture, getting good, breezed three-quarters in 1:22. Easy work; he is nearly ready. Miss Waters is working well and will soon win. Margaret N. is about to winning condition. Mars Cassidy may be classed as fit to win. So is David Craig. He acted this morning as if quite ready. Marion Goosby will soon win. Fruit Cake is good. A lot of the trainers are not doing much with their horses and will not until the going is more grateful. Tom Shaw. Sol Lichenstein and Henry Hanf are the leading bookmakers in the ring. It will take several days to get the Fair Grounds track to its normal condition on account of the heavy recent rains. At present there is a hard path next to the inner rail and the horse or horses which get it have a shrrp advantage
