1 — — FORT ERIES RICH STAKES TO CLOSE. Elsewhere in this newspaper will be found the advertised conditions of seven valuable stakes, which will close for entries at midnight of Mon- k day. They are the list proffered by the Niagara I Racing Association and to be run over its Fort | Erie track next summer, four to be run in the I " course of its July meeting and three at its Aug- ust meetiug. The long established Canadian Derby, for three-year-olds, with ,000 added, will be the leading feature of the first meeting aud the Dominion Handicap, for three-year-olds and over, with ,000 added, will be the main event of the second. The Fort Erie Stakes have all been made added money races and are now all of solid values, sufficiently so as to command the attention of any owner. They deserve liberal patronage and will no doubt receive U.
