WEXX-KNOWN KENTUCKY TURFMAN DEAD. Lexington, Ky., May 19. — The body of Thomas W. Moore, former well-known turfman, brother of Charles W. Moore, owner of Mere Hill Stud, was interred here today. Mr. Moore died last Saturday at Tucson, Arizona. He had been in poor health for several years. Among the horsea owned and : raced by him was the famous Kaloolah and Au--.thrncite, which won the I-atonia Oaks in 1900. .Ha al*o developed Copperficld. While rebelling against being hobbled, F. D. KtPghts Wild Bess, eighteen year-old mare by Iroquois — Bessie K., by The Ill-Used, burst a blood vessel aad died.
