YEARLING SALES SATURDAY MORNING. Saratoga, N. Y., August 1G. The sale of Mrs. n. B. Duryeas yearlings, which had been advertised for Saturday evening, will take place in, the Fasig-Tipton sales paddocks Saturday forenoon at" 11 oclock. The sales company has learned by experience that early evening sales are not popular with buyers, who are anxious to get home to dinner us early as possible after the racing, and for this reason it has been decided to change the hour of Mrs. Duryeas sale. Although these richly-bred yearlings are not as far advanced as some of the choice home-bred yearlings which have been offered or late by the Fasig-Tipton Company, .they have improved greatly since coming up to Saratoga, and now, although some of them, appear somewhat undersized for yearlings, in August when judged by American standards, none of them appears to be so far below what he ought to be in this respect, as not to have an excellent chance to grow into a real race horse.
