HEAD PURCHASES WALDECK FARM C. B. Head, of Louisville, Ky., who is in NevV Orleans for a few days visit, announced, that, he recently purchased the Waldeck Stock Farm: near I Louisville. Mr. Head expects to go into the, breed- ins of thoroughbreds.1 on .a large scale in the near i future. Tho Waldeck Farm was owned by Thomas Murphy, who is Veil known In the turf world. The place Is considered one of the most complete farms for breeding purposes In tho Blue Grass state. The Picket, winner of the American Derby of 1P03. and many other notable- horses have been bted ou this farm. i
