A . j, RETURN OF SOLLY TO RACING AN INTERESTING FEATURE IN THE CAMPAIGN OF THE J. N: CAMDEN STABLE 4, ; 4. Although the two-year-old filly Atalanta was J. N. Camdens principal money winner in .1917 and a cracking good filly as well, the most interesting inmate of his stable was really his five-yearrold Solly. Because of an injured leg this horse had not raced since his two-year-old days and had partially dropped out of recollection. But he came back to racing this year and demonstrated conclusively his restoration to soundness and his retention of his youthful speed. At Latonia last month he thrice won at three-quarters in less than 1:12, his times for" the three races being respectively 1:11 with 108 pounds up, 1:11 with 115 pounds and 1:11 with 122 pounds, a series of fast races seldom witnessed. If he remains sound, Solly may cut quite a figure in next years racing. The two-year-old Ben Brush fillies, Honeydew and Plevna, raced profitably for the stable, and its record for the year was: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree. 1st. 2d. 3d. Won.
