DASH set the, early pace and was taken back, then came again in the stretch and outgamed WATER WINGS at the end. WATER WINGS raced into the lead on the last turn and, finishing gamely, was only beaten because of a poor ride. PROTECTION ran well and was on the inside nearly all the way.
