BELMONT PARK STAKES CLOSE MONDAY MONDAYIt It is worth noting that of the ten Belmont Park stakes which close for entries at midnight of Mon ¬ day only three the Nassau Selling Stakes the Mineula Selling Stakes and the newlyinstituted Tomboy Stakes for twoyearold fillies are of guar ¬ anteed values All the others have a liberal provis ¬ ion of added money In view of the real prosperity of the New York racing organizations this year it may be safely predicted that the time is not far away when added money stakes will supplant the guaranteed value stakes of New York racing almost entirely entirelyThe The stake races now proffered by the Westchester Racing Association for its autumn meeting at Bel jnont Park lit in well with the general program of eastern fall racing and should be heartily supported by owners It is to their own interest to do all within their ixiwer to foster Metropolitan racing and their part is to furnish entries that will capti ¬ vate the public imagination Their attention is so ¬ licited to the associations advertisement published elsewhere in this issue of Daily Racing Form
