AUSTRALIAN TURFMEN AND OUR FLAG On Australia Day in Adelaide last year a big American flag was presented to Tattersalls Club by G A Nelson to assist witli those of the other allied nations in adorning the walls This flag was sold and resold in aid of the wounded soldiers fund and 2810 was raised The suggestion was made at the time that the signature of President Wilson should be secured and the bunting was for ¬ warded to New York with that object in view On Thursday American Independence Daj it was un ¬ furled at Tattersalls Club Adelaide by the chair ¬ man of the committee II P McLachlan The sig ¬ natures on the flag are Woodrow Wilson Ronald MunroFerguson Helen MunroFerguson Henry Gal way Marie Carlola Galway As time goes on that flag will become more and more prized Sydney Referee
