DEER PLENTIFUL IN NEW JERSEY JERSEYTrenton Trenton N J October Deer hunters have found the game plentiful in the New Jersey woods according to reports reaching the State Fish and Game Commission at the stutehouse from various sections of South Jersey where deer is to be mostly found Several hunters have given out the state ¬ ment concerning the killing of a number of fine big bucks one being a 200 pounder having twelve tines tinesThe The commission has not yet received any reports on injury to hunters which is said to be remark ¬ able in consideration of the thick foliage that is still in the womls and which increases the danger of accidents Only three more days remain for deer hunting in the state tlie last Wednesday of this mouth and the first Wednesday of November NovemberIt It is said that heavier kills can be expected as soon as the foliage is thinned out and that there have been no fires worthy of attention started by the hunter The fire wardens bureau of the State Department of Conservation and Development is giving attention to fires in the woods to prevent duplication of past conflagrations
