A K MACOMBER TO CONTINUE RACING Reconsiders Plan to Hetire as an Owner and Orders Trainer Not to Sell Any More Horses Baltimore Md Xoveniber 8 It was with much gratification that racegeors learned today that A K Macomber had reconsidered his plans to retire as an owner from the turf and confine his efforts exclusively to breeding The near end of the war was resiwnsilde for his decision and this morning trainer Jennings received word from his employer not to consider any more offers for any of the Macomber horses horsesA A few days ago Jennings disposed of Motor Cop and the twoyearolds War Marvel and War Pen ¬ nant to Commander J K L Boss for STiOOO and yesterday he turned down an offer of 10000 for Star Master In speaking of the matter Jen ¬ nings said I am certainly sorry that I disposed of any of Mr Maconilnrs horses now that he has decided to remain in racing I dont mind losing Motor Cop so much but I would like to have kept War Marvel and War Pennant as both are colts of the highest class and most promising timber for next years Derbys The Macomber horses will probably winter at the Slacomhcr stable at Bclmont Park
