SURPLICE began slowly on the outside, but closed a gap quickly and ran a good race. FUSTIAN ran well. AUNT FLORA closed a gap. L1TTLECOTE finished fast and passed LUCKY LADY in the last sixteenth. The latter set a fast pace, but was much used in racing CAKRIE MOORE into defeat and tired. CARRIE MOORE raced into the lead on the last turn, but failed in the stretch drive. Scratched 10S15 Major Doino, 100.
