Practically all the star racers of last vear are entered in thevarious stakes, including among others the ever pouular and sterling old geldingi: Itoamer.-The recent rumor that Andrew Miller would race Roanier again this year is borne out by the appearance of his name among the Aqueduct stake entries. Surely nothing will be more pleasing to eastern racegoers and the turf world in general than the return to the race course of one of the most popu-l?M.raV? orses of this country. Cudgel. Sun Briar, Billy Kelly, Exterminator, War Cloud, Omar Khayyam and other popular racers arc also named In the H. P. Whitney nominations are three for-eign-bred three-year-olds Headstrong, a sou of Polymelus Perverse; Bayard, u sou of Bayardo Miss Hamburg, and Vindex, by St. Victrix Belle rontainc. The two first named of this trio have never started. It is presumed these two have shown their trainer, James Rowe. sufficient to warrant their entry in many of the eastern stakes. AVillis S. Kilmer has named Exterminator for the Brooklyn and other handicaps, and Sun Briar for all handicaps outside of the Brooklyn. A. K. Macomber lias a list of ten horses in the handicaps and is the largest nominator. Commander J. K. L. Boss is second on the list with eight entries, including Cudgel, Billy Kelly and War Pen. uant. W.
