EDWARD F. SIMMS NAME MISSING LEXIXGTOX. Ky.. March 4. It was stated here recently that Edward F. Simms, of Kentucky and Texas, who was asserted some time ago to be a leading member of the syndicate buying the Kentucky race tracks, has not joined the syndicate, nor is there reason to believe lie will be financially interested to any great extent. He made the first offer to bny Latonia, and Churchill Downs, but his offer was declined.
