Horses Disqualified During 1918 The racing of 1918 brought about only seventeen cases of disqualification. Of these but eight were of horses which had finished first, the other nine being horses which had finished second or third. No horse of great fame was included in the list of offenders. Foul riding brought the imposition of the penalty in all but one instance, the exception being the case of Agnes Cook, disqualified for lack of correct registration, as required by the rules of racing. The total was the smallest of recent years, there being twenty-three disqualifications in 1917, forty-one in 191G and thirty in 1915. The list for 1918 Is as follows: Date. Horse. Fin.
