DEER WAGGED TAIL WELCOME TO DOG Here is a story of a deer that didnt fear a dog In fact this deer a big buck calmly stood his ground as the dog ran circles around him barking furiously and showed his contempt for the smaller fourfooted creature by wagging his tail as non ¬ chalantly as could be This is no fairy tale It is vouched for by Harold S Hannum of Westfield Mass who got a deer but not the one that wagged his flag The wagging incident took place while Mr Hannum and Ward McCarthy of Kastliampton were walking through the woods at lluiitington Their dog began barking at a clump of bushes Thinking that possibly a coon was concealed behind the bushes the pair went forward only to hi startled by the sudden appearance of the big buck deer which ran a few yards then stopped and went through the above recounted action
