RAIN HALTS GALLOPS AT LEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky March 27 A heavy rain last night caused the closing of the mile track at tne Kentucky Association course against gallops this morning and such exercise as the horses had was over the inner track and were naturally slow slowGeneral General Manager Robert L Baker upon his return from Louisville this morning gave an order to the track carpenters to construct a new bandstand near the clubhouse and to convert the present bandstand into two boxes one to be used by President Camden and the other by the directors of the Kentucky Jockey Club ClubSherman Sherman Gqodpaster secretarytreasurer of the Kentucky Jockey Club was here today and checked up all of the property of the Kentucky Association
