JACK RABBIT HUNTING IN SNOW BRIG1IAM Ltah April 3 Jack rabbits infest the arid lauds on the promontory forty miles west of Brighum City and in fact the entire western part of Box Elder County Every winter excursions are run over the Canadian Pacitic Railroad to the promontory from Ogden and Brigham for a days shoot and the bunnies are slaughtered by the thousands thousandsUpon Upon those occasions the hunters form in a great circle in the hills back of the lake then begin the drive toward the lake shore pushing the rabbits ahead of them finally corralling them literally be ¬ tween the devil aud the deep sea as it were and dispatching them with alacrity These occasions arc always timed when the snow is tue right depth
