THREE FAST WINNING TWOYEAROLDS When at Latonia last Friday Marjorie Ilynes ran four and onehalf furlongs in 52 and won by eight lengths she demonstrated her endowment with the first requisite of a race horse speed and highclass speed As she had previously won in the mud it is apparent that she is well equipped for racing under any variety of track conditions Ob ¬ viously she is in the first flight of our twoyear old fillies and a credit to Dick Finnell In the east Paul Jones and Kallipolis have shown excel ¬ lent form in winning good races and are likely to win more But they have not shown the great speed with which Marjorie Hynes is gifted and in the long run may be classed as simply useful However all of these youngsters are of the test breeding and consideration of their pedigrees pre ¬ sented here cannot fail to prove interesting to those concerned in the matter
