DAY OF PEACE, probably best, had to race wide for most of the way, but, after closing a gap, finished with a rush and would have won in a few strides more. KEEP also finished fast and gamely. IEGGY C. tired in the last eighth after racing prominently. MOVE ON ran well to the last eighth. LITTLE NIECE closed a big gap. LORRAINE, much the best, was away poorly, but gained steadily and was gaining at the end. STARVIEW ran a good race and, although running out on the stretch turn, came again and outstayed KINBURN. The latter suffered from interference. ANGOr. tired badly in the stretch.
