PRINCE OF WALES DONATES A CUP s TORONTO, Out., November 28. Correspondence between Mr. George Beardmore. the M. F. H., and chief Of staff to H. R. H. the Prince of Wales, resulted in tlie donation of a cup to the Toronto Hunt for amateur sleepleehasing. Sir Lionel Ilalsey wrote: "His; royal highness will be glad, indeed, to fall in with your suggestion, which is that you should establish a fixture for your hunt meeting, and that a cup should be named. The Prince of Wales Cup. At the same time his royal highness desires me to say that he wishes to present the cup himself to the club, and this cup will be sent in due course." Mr. Beardmore, in expressing thanks for the gift, said: "It will establish a fixture at our hunt meetings, to bo known as the Prince of Wales Cup. The offer to provide this cup is an honor which all our members deeply appreciate. Every young sportsman will aspire to. win this cup, coming from his royal highness, who is beloved by . the people of Canada in fact, wherever he goes diffusing the gospel of kindliness in the best interests of mankind generally."
