JACK ATKIN TO BE SOLD AT AUCTION It has been decided by his widow that the horses owned by the late Barney Sehroiber shall be disposed of at the sale of thoroughbreds set for December ii at Lexington, Ky. The .stallion Jack Atkin and a number of brood mares make up the consignment. Jack Atkin was in every particular a superior race liorse, extremely fast and a superb weight carrier. He has not had the best opportunities in the stud, but despite this by sheer merit lias gained inclusion in the select list of twenty leading sires of the United States, a fact that speaks volumes for him Hn itself. It is not often that an opportunity -to secure such a prize. In the prime of stud life, too, crops up. and this proved sire should bring a good sum under the auctioneers hammer,
