CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Saturdays crowd at Jefferson Park was almost or record proportions. The International Horse Show closed here Saturday night after a week of .record breaking attendance. The widow of the late Matthew Allen, the well-known trainer, who died recently, left an estate if nearly 1,000. Thomas Welch, who left for France altout a mouth ago in the interest of Mr. Joseph Widener, is expiated back here early in January. The fields at Oriental Iark should 1h; much larger from now on with the Howie consignment that arrived during the last few days to draw on. As has lieen the case for several years, John McGinni.s will winter at Graveseiid. "My stable and the Waldorf will be my winter stamping rounilK," say.s Mr. McCinnis.
