* R0AMER IS BURIED IN NEW JERSEY NEW YORK. N. V.. January «.— Reports that the bones of the lat- Andrew Millers gelding. Baanter, would be preserved and placed beside those of I he great Sysonby in the Museum of Natural History may or may not be true, but the day after Baamerl accident, in which he broke his right fore leg above the knee by what Dr. Robert McCul.y terms stepping crooked, he was destroyed by the administration of chloroform and was buried immediately afterward on t lie farm of Mr. Arthur Sliutts. Shrewsbury. N. J. Dr. McCully firmly believes the accident occurred through stepping crooked, there being no outward signs of a kick or injury of any kind. The horse had been rolling in the snow ten minutes before tlie accident. All the horses belonging to the late Mr. Andrew Miller will be sold in the near future. There are five in all: Recount. Snapdragon II.. Riff Rang, a two-year-old by Textile — Miss Hudson, and a maiden that has been turned out for some time. The Futurity for 1922 has a record entry according to secretary Earlocker, who has been filing the nominations, which rinsed last Saturday. There are 1,283 patrons on the list, which tops the previous record subscribed in 1005 of 1.157 by forty-eight.
