WHITE STAR showed much early speed, but tired in the fatal sixteenth HANDSEL II. was in the best going for the entire race and held on gamely, although tiring badly. MABEL TRASK proh-aldv was best, but tried to run out on the turns and tired in the last eighth, where she got into the deepest going. FIREPLACE raced forwardiy all the way.
