Won easily; second and third driving. VERITY, under restraint until in the last quarter, moved up rapidly in the stretch and, taking the lead, won going away. LADY WARD raced into the lead after entering the homestretch, but tired when challenged. KITTY JOHNSON raced into a long lead in the early running, but tired in the stretch drive. MOHICAN moved up rapidly on the last turn and took the lead, but tired right at the end. FREE STATE finished fast. EARLOCKER failed to rise at the second jump and fell. RAGNAROK set a good pace, but tired and just lasted to save second place. KING AGRIPPA finished fast and would have been second in another stride. BETSY ran well and finished close up.
