Gadsby of Kirkwood, Mo., aVrivcd here Monday from St. Louis with the stallion Mentor, eight brood mares and four weanlings lie purchased from the estatp of the late Otto Stifel, The mares are Rustic, Agnes Cella, Harrietta C, Hattie C. Celtine, Achron, Miss Bland and Maggie Isham. The weanlings are fillies, one by Black Toney Acheron, and the others by Mentor. It is Dr. Gadsbys intention to sell them to local breeders at the December sale. Henry McDanicl arrived here Monday night from New York and spent today looking at yearlings.
