FIELD DAY FOR F. W1LS0M Rides Four Winners at Havana Right Angle Defeats Out the Way. HAVANA. Cuba. December 27. The unreliable sprinter Right Angle scored his first victory under the colors of the Armenia Stable this afternoon when lie got up in the final stride and beat the fast horse Out the Way in the ,000 handicap, run as the third race. Out the Way set a terrific pace, leading with a good margin until well inside the last eighth, where lie tired badly and Just failed to last long enough. Hie finish was close and required the official placing to decide the winner. The attendance today was quite flattering considering that, it was Monday anil immediately following two holidays. Speculation was keen and the public gave the books an awful drubbing. The outstanding feat in e of this afternoons sport was the riding of jockey F. Wilson, who rode four winners, three in a row. Hunter Piatt, under P.utwoIFs .powerful finish, took the initial dash, defeating Driffield by a head. Litholick led all the way in the second, but was doing his best at the end to hold Gold Stone safe. Penelope set the pace throughout in the fourth race and was never in danger. Wilson had the mount on Penelope and followed this success by bringing Guaranteed and Clip home victorious in the final two races. Jockey Kennedy canceled his engagements on account of illness. The mare Little lanehiti. which was due to foal in February, slipped the colt in foal by J. J. Mur-dock last night. Little lanehiti was purchased a few days ago by J. F. Wallace. Brigida was kicked while at the post in the last race and will Is- on the shelf for a couple of weeks, j Jockey Fletcher was suspended for five days by the starter for disobedience at the post in the first race. Bill llunley was claimed by T. Doyle for ,100.
