HAVRE OPENS SATURDAY Stars of Big Eastern Stables to Race at Harford Course Splendid Array of Entries for Four 5000 Stake Features Offi ¬ cials of Meeting BALTIMORE Md April 14 The spring meet ¬ ing of the Harford Agricultural and Breeders As ¬ sociation will open Saturday April 1 at the pictur tsque Havre de Grace course AVonderful as has lnen the patronage accorded the Bowie track it will not compare with the crowds that will journey to Havre For there the public will see for the first time this year many of the real stars of the turf under colors prospective starters in the Ken ¬ tucky Derby the Preakness and other important spring fixtures Practically all of the foremost eastern racing stables are quartered at Havre or Last Saturday entries closed for the four 5000 stake features of the meeting and over 400 nomi tions were received The Harford Handicap a dash of threequarters of a mile for threeyearolds and over to be run on the opening day drew one hundred and two Yesterday
