COLD RAIN AND SNOW AT LOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE Ky May 4 Cold weather a drizzling rain and snow were the unpropitious con ¬ ditions encountered by trainers at Churchill Downs today While Derby work was considerably cur ¬ tailed nevertheless several candidates were tried out in the heavy going Harned Bros Coyne was sent a mile and an eighth in 158 the fractional time being as follows 25 37 30 104 117 130 and 144 The Bradley pair Black Servant and Behave Yourself galloped tho full Derby route in 211 H P Whitneys Tryster and Broomspun also went the full distance together in 211 while Prudery was sent a mile in 147 J K L Ross Star Voter went a half in 49 49Five Five other Derby eligibles were sent short dis ¬ tances as follows Htep Lightly 24 37 60 Careful 23 35 50 Nancy Lee 22 85 50 Gangway 23 35 and Guvnor 36
