MORVICH A COLT OF GREAT SPEED The phenomenal Californiabred colt Morvich which Fred Burlew bought from A B Spreckels appears to be the fastest twoyearold of the year He has started in three races and won them all Good judges who have seen Morvich work are in love witli the flying son of Runnymede and Hymir He is of the oldfashioned type well balanced clever in his ways docile about 153 hands high a solid dark baybrown and a flyer in his work He makes great speed without fuss and pulls up us if he enjoyed it Friday at Aqueduct he ran fiveeighths in 59 over a track that was far from its best At Jamaica last Tuesday with over 120 pounds up lie worked a quarter in 2214 seconds and threeeighths in 34 against a high wind in his face Another champion eastern followers of racing are proclaiming
