SWEEPY, under slight restraint in the early running, saved ground oh all the turns and finished fast. LUCKY GIRL, oft slowlv, was forced to race wide all the way and closed au. immense gap. EAST AlEW saved much ground on the turns and easily passed McKENXA. The latter rushed into the lead and set a fast early pace, but tired badly in the last eighth. The others were always outpaced. FRIGATE came fast and gamely through the stretch and would have won in another stride. SEDGEFIELD saved ground on all the turns and had no mishaps. FIRST PULLET showed a good order of speed, for the entire way and outstayed the others. SEA MIXT at once rushed into the lead, but tired after going three-quarters. AVEDUWOOD raced wide all the wav. SEA 8IXNER finished resolutely. CRYSTAL FORD tired after g oing a half mile. ST. ISIDORE sulked and refused to extend himself. Scratched 57903 Mr. X., 103; 5S122 Morning F ace, 95. LONG ISLAND retired after going well for three-eighths. COMIC SONG ran a poor race. Overweights Long Island, 1 pound.
