« KSAR STILL A NOBLE RACE HORSE PARIS. France. April 2. — The flat racing season opened at Longchamps today under dreary condi-, 1 tions. A bitter East wind drove heavy rain across the course, but despite this, the stands were well patronized by lovers of the thoroughbred. The feature race of the day was the Frix des Sablons for three-year-olds and over at a mile and a marker, with SIO.OOO added. It was won by Madame Edmond Blancs Ksar, ch. e, 4. by Brulenr — Kizil Kurgan, by Omnium II.. which, under good riding by jockey F. Bullock, pioved easily best of a good field of crack racers of last year. Last jears winner was .I.iiik-s Hcunessys Sour-bier, by Corgos — Sapientia. by Saint Damien.
