1 -,! DEVONSHIRE PARK RACING STATISTICS The Western Racing Association, operating the Devonshire Park track, was quite generous in its purse offerings during its first meeting of 1922 from July 1 to July 8, considering that there were no closed stake features. The total distribution amounted to 4,700, a daily average of 2,100. The fields were large, the contestants well-matched and the racing wholesome and spirited. The attendance figures were large, while the speculation was in keeping with the size of the crowds. The meeting was successful in every respect. C. T. Worthington found his trip to "Windsor quite profitable, hi3 horses accounting for six races and ,950. He heads the list of the owners, of whom the following won 00 or more each: Owner. 1st. 2d. 3d.
