LATEST NSW ORLEANS NEWS NEW ORLEANS, La.. July 26. Judge Joseph A. Murphy applied to the Business Mens Racing Associtaion for the position ot presiding steward at the Fair Grounds next winter, it became known here today, but he will not be employed unless he alters his demands to fit the intentions of the new directors of the association, according to announcement made by President John Dy-mond. No details of Judge Murphys demands or of the associations offers in the matter are arvailable. The committee appointed for the formulation of plans for a golf course in the field reported that the scheme is practical and the building of it will go forward, according to the present outlook.
