SEA KING NOW IN KENTUCKY LEXINGTON, Ky., September 2. The thoroughbred stallion Sea King, by Persimmon Sea Air, by Isonomy, and twelve brood marcs and seven foals, all the property of Thomas Fortune Ryan, arrived here today from Oakridge Farm, Va., and were taken to Hal Price Headleys Beaumont Farm, where they are to remain, Mr. Ryan having come to the conclusion that it is better that he keep them in Kentucky than in Virginia. Sea King was a stake winner in England and is the sire of Paul Jones, winner of the Kentucky Derby, the Suburban Handicap and other good races. The marcs in the shipment are Alverida, Ausander, Claudia, Dropleaf, Fanny M e h a n, Maiden Pair, Mintless, Puff, Red Ruff, Rosehill, Ruby Nethersole and Sea Wave. Mr. Ryan previously had sent Irish Confetti, Nancy Shanks and Sherando to Beaumont Farm. Mr. Headley returned to Lexington last night from the East, having stopped off yesterday to see the racing at Louisville.
