BLUE STONE came fast through the stretch and, wearing BLOSSOMS down, outgamed her and won going away. The latter set a fast pace, but tired after going a half mile in the lead. UPTOWN moved up steadily after rounding the far turn, but also tired. PURPLE AND WHITE was in a Jam on the turn out of the backstretch, where she was pulled up, then closed a big gap. PERKIOMEN was saved to the fourteenth jump, then finished gamely on the outside and was going away in the last dozen strides, BRIGANNA jumped well and saved ground where possible, but tired after taking the lead when going to the last fence. JIM COFFROTH was driving hard at the end to outstay FLYING FROG. The latter finished gamely. THE TROUT had the race won when he fell at the fourteenth jump. ST. PRISMAR raced close up from the start and, in a long and hard stretch drive, outfinished DOO GAIETY. The latter set a fast pace for the first half and, sticking well to his task when challenged, would have won with riders reversed. HALLUCINATION ran a capital race, but tired under Ills weight in the last eighth. HONEYS JEWEL closed a gap aud finished with a rush. GAME SCRAPPER and FLOWERFUL ran well. HICKMAN sprinted into the lead at the rise of the barrier and, setting- a great pace, raced GOOD TIMES into defeat in the first quarter, then drew away on the stretch turn and was under a hard ride at the finish to hold HILDUR safe. -The latter was outpaced in the early running, but passed GOOD TIMES in the stretch and finished gamely.
