Cosden, ably presided over by that capable Virginia trainer, William Garth. The Cosden horses won collectively a total of 55,11S during the racing of 1922, placing Mr. Cosdens name fifth on the list of winning owners. In 1921 Mr. Cosden was eighth with a total of 4,763 to his credit. The Cosden stable this year comprised thirty-two horses, of which three did not start at all. His big winners were Dunlin, Martingale and Snob II. If the latter had not met with a mishap and had retained the form he displayed in the early spring, there is every reason to believe that the Cosden total winnings would have been considerably increased. Other good contributors to the stables total were the steeplechasers Bullseye ; and Hallavill, also Blazes and Paul Jones. In all, Mr. Cosden may feel well satisfied with the showing of his stable in 1922, the records of the individual members of it being here presented: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedifee. t. 2d. 3d. Won.
