Won driving; second and third the same. DR. STEVENSON, racing forwardly from the start and taking the lead with a rush under hard liding, gamely withstood the challenge of PHYLLIS K. The latter came fast through the final eighth and was rapidly wearing the winner down. THRILLS closed a gap in a fast finish. HAZEL DALE showed early speed, but quit badly. BIG INDIAN, after racing SQUASn into defeat, took the lead, but readily gave way to the winner when challenged. OLYMPIAD finished gamely and outstayed BILLY JOE. " EUGENIA K. ran well, but tired in the stretch.
