Baumgartner has taken a contract on the apprentice ClarenceSanchez. a native of New Orleans. The younster entered upon his rieling eareer at the Mobile meeting where he showeel promise. Candy Lndjr, a member of the H. T. Archibald string, will be out of racing for some time dne to buckeel shins. Photo, the dam of Time Exposure anel Bobby, has ree-ently foaleel a colt by High Time. Mr. Hughes also owns a yearling brother to this foal and has a two-year-old by Star Hampte n-Photo in training at the l exington eourse, in the barn of B. L. Frakes. R. L, Frakes will breed the Frizzle mare Jocleta to Tompe la Mort. the sire of the good three-year-old Galetian. My Colleen, also the pre perty of Mr. Frakes. is destined for the court of Trompe la Mort. Wele-or. by Dick Welles, is to be mated with J. S. Taylors Pacines. The good MeGee mare Viva America is to be bred to J. N. Camdens Light Brigade this year. This mare is the property of S. K. Nichols. Mr. Nichols, brood mares have thus far foaled well, and among the preuluee are a colt by Black Servant- Clintonville and a filly by King Gorin— Millefleurs. J. O. Kcene announced the arrival e f a. colt by Sand Mole out of the Von Tromp mare Faireharmer. George Barnes reports the birth of a sister to Dolly H. at Marnesdale. she being by United Verde — Valeureuse. John Hertz has a bay filly by Luke McLuke, from the imported mare Paceiuer-ette, by John OGaunt, which arri%ed at Ke-eneland Stud the latter part of the week. Word was received here this morning that Accomplish and Companion, intended starters in the Centennial Futurity, would arrive at the local course Thursday morning from the Past. J. W. Fergusons two-year-old Bonaire came out of his last race with bucked shins. Charlton Clay, who has a select hand e f brood mares at his Bourbon County farm, repeats that eight of his mares have foals by such stallions as Jim Gaffney. Omar Khayyam, Paul Weidel and Ohatterton. The mares are Waterhxj. Dolly Higgins, lakelet. Crownlet, Bonnie Morn, Debonaire, Hester B. and Cadeau. A
