CARLARIS FUTURE RACES Will Be Seen in Action at Fair-mount, Latonia, Chicago and on the Metropolitan Courses. LKXINGTON, Ky., April 28.— W. T. Anderson, owner of Carlaris, was among todays visitors from Louisville. He confirmed that his colt would be an absentee from the Kentucky Derby, May 15. "I had high hopes until yesterday of his starting in the big fixture, but was forced to admit that it would be unwise and probably result in permanent injury to the colt if he were started. The wound is not serious, at present and the colt is in superb condition otherwise, but the injury might bee-ome aggravated unless he is completely stopped in his training. "I had planned ambitiously for Carlaris and it included starting in the Kentucky Derby and the other principal three-year-old fixtures culminating with a start in the I-atonia Championship Stakes." Carlaris will be pointed for his start in the Pairmount Park Derby. He will then engage in the Lationia Derby and the principal three-year-old stakes in Chicago, when they begin racing there. He will also give an eastern racing audience a chance to judge of his merits, for he will start in several stakes on the Metropolitan courses in which he is entered. *
