WILD ASTKR. on the outside from the start, finished resolutely. STRPT MISS LIZZIE ran a good race from the start. APPLECROSS began in a tangle and closed a gap. JOHNNY JEWELL quit. BROTHERHOOD close up from the start, moved up into the lead on the hack stretch, then stood a long drive gamely and outfinished HARRY CARROLL. The latter ran a good race all the way. raced on th* outside from the start and made a game challenge in the stretch, but tired in the final eighth. CANDY-MAKER slipped through on the iniside while rounding the first turn, and was then taken under slight restraint but finished fast. EL CANOE ran well from the start. CHEF-lt OE! FADDY was outriis to the stretch turn and caaae with a belated rush at the cud. SHIP ran a good nice from the start. GRIERSOX shewed early speed but tired after rating SALLIES VALLEY into defeat.
