ACUTE SHORTAGE OF JOCKEYS L ATONTA Ky June 10 An acute short ¬ age of jockeys has developed at Latonla and this morning jockeys G Johnson and Mack Garner notwithstanding injuries which have kept them out of the saddle for some time expressed a willingness to help out Needless to say their offers were accepted and both were made ready for riding during the after ¬ noon Garner had the cast removed from his shoulder and firmly set in a strong brace and Johnsons bad leg was especially pre ¬ pared to meet the strain of riding ridingPerhaps Perhaps never before has there been such a dearth of riding talent here
