u - oe ie e y » BUYS R. LEONARDS CONTRACT _ » — BOWIE, Md., April 16.— W. M. Moore to-day consummated the transfer of the contract that James Arthur held on the ap- prentice R. Leonard. The latter will ride the first two days at Havre de Grace and then report to trainer Eddie Sietas at Jam- aica. Leonard rode 159 winners since June 1, 1927. He plans to return to Maryland for the meeting.
